Winning Captain: So special, I can’t remember a more important contribution. We played some great cricket throughout the year but only got to play at the end, but thanks to the boys for contributing. It was a disappointing start in the first game, the first half was mediocre here and we got out of it somehow, we have to give our best in the next game.
Richie Barrington
Lost Captain: I lost the captain-pros with the bat, I thought Jones was great throughout the innings, the others contributed and I was happy with the end result even though I thought we lost a few rounds towards the end. It was supposed to take the early wickets and put them under stress, but credit to Kaempfer and Dockrell for this impeccable partnership, they took the game away from us. We’ve learned from last year, we found ourselves in a similar situation there. We’ll take a day off tomorrow and focus again on the next game.
Curtis Kempfer
Match Player: He had a clear game plan. Today was my day. We got some momentum around day 9 or 10 and then decided to move on. We are very much alive in the tournament. The hard work of the last year has paid off.
